Appellate Litigation
Through my experience as an appellate litigator with both the Ohio Attorney General's Major Appeals Group and an AmLaw 100 firm, I have come to believe firmly that appellate litigation is more than simply a rehash of the trial. Rather, effective appellate advocacy requires unique skills and expertise. I stand ready to work with co-counsel on matters pending, or potentially to be pending, before state or federal appellate courts. I stand equally ready to represent individuals or businesses with appellate litigation issues.
Professional Licensure
During my time as a government attorney, I had the privilege of representing a number of Ohio's regulatory agencies, particularly licensure boards governing healthcare professionals such as audiologists, chiropractors, counselors, physicians, social workers, and speech pathologists. Professional responsibility, ethics, and licensure matters demand unique approaches to litigation and dispute resolution. I stand ready to assist individuals with any matters involving Ohio's professional licensure boards.
